Are you also suffering from hair loss problems? If you’re experiencing hair fall, you’re not alone. It’s one of the most common hair concerns among many individuals. While it can be alarming to see your hair falling out, it’s important to keep in mind that some hair loss is normal. Everyone loses around 100 hairs per day. There are several different factors that can contribute to hair fall, including genetics, hormones, medical conditions, diet, and stress. If you’re concerned about hair fall, it’s important to talk to your doctor to rule out any underlying medical conditions. So today in this article we will talk about everything related to hair loss, such as its life cycle, causes of hair loss in women, tips to stop hair loss, and finally a good method to prevent hair loss.

How much hair loss is average?

Losing 50 to 100 hairs a day is normal and not that much of a big issue to be concerned about. But more than that, it can be an issue to be concerned about as it happens only when something stops the hair from growing. The medical term used for such conditions is anagen effluvium,Tony said from famous hair brand company UNice.

What is the life cycle of a hair?

The life cycle of human scalp hair is divided into four phases, which are as follows:

    1. Growing phase (Anagen)

Do you know that 90% of your scalp hairs are in the anagen phase? This phase lasts for 3 to 5 years, and for some people, it can be up to 7 years. The anagen phase is the longest phase of the life cycle of hair growth. During the growing phase (anagen), your hair follicle on your scalp pushes out your hair to continuously grow until it doesn’t fall out, reach the end of its life span, or get cut.

    2. Transition phase (Catagen)

Do you know that only 5% of your scalp hair is in this transition phase in which the growth of hair slows down as the hair follicle starts to shrink? During that growing phase, the hair gets detached from the bottom of the hair follicle and still remains in place in its final days. This phase lasts up to 10 to 20 days, depending on several factors.

    3. Resting phase (Telogen):

Do you know that 10 to 15% of your hair is in the resting phase? In this resting phase, new hair starts forming in the hair follicle where old hair doesn’t fall out either. The testing phase (Telogen) lasts up to 3 months. According to a few experts, this phase is also termed as the shedding phase. But some experts have divided the shedding phase into two phases: telogen and exogen.

    4. Shedding Phase (Exogen)

During this exogenous phase, an individual loses 50 to 100 hairs per day while combing or washing their hair, which is normal. As we discussed above, in the transition phase, hair gets detached from the follicle and in the resting phase, a new hair starts forming in the follicle. Therefore, to let the new hair grow, the old one has to fall out. This phase lasts up to 2 to 5 months.

What causes hair loss for women?

There is no one answer to this question as hair loss can be caused by a variety of factors, including genetics, hormones, and lifestyle choices. However, some of the most common causes of hair loss in women include:

    • Hormonal Changes: Many women experience hair loss during the transition to menopause, as the body’s hormones change. Other hormonal changes, such as those that accompany puberty, can also cause hair loss.
    • Wearing a wig is also a good method to deal with hair loss, let your hair relax, buying HD closure wigs at https://www.unice.com/wig-1/5×5-hd-lace-wig.html
    • Diet and Nutrition: Poor diet can cause hair loss in both men and women. Poor nutrition can lead to a deficiency in important nutrients, including zinc, vitamin B12, and vitamin D, which can all contribute to hair loss.
    • Environmental Factors: Exposure to toxins, such as hair dye and other chemicals, can damage hair follicles and cause hair loss.
    • Obesity and Overweight: Being overweight can lead to inflammation, which can damage hair follicles and cause hair loss.
    • Medical Conditions: Certain medical conditions, such as thyroid problems, anaemia, and pregnancy cause hair loss. Most of the womens after pregnancy go through hair loss that can last upto 6 to 10 months but with proper diet it can be controllable.

    How to stop hair loss?

Hair loss is a common problem and can be caused by a number of factors, including age, genetics, and lifestyle changes. There are a number of ways to stop hair loss, including using hair loss treatments and therapies, dietary changes, and supplements. Here are some tips on how to stop hair loss:

    • Use hair loss treatments and therapies

Some hair loss treatments and therapies, such as hair transplantation, are expensive, but they can be effective in stopping hair loss. Other treatments, such as minoxidil, are more affordable and can also be effective in stopping hair loss.

    • Proper diet

One of the best ways to stop hair loss is to eat a healthy diet. This will help to improve your hair’s health and stop hair loss.

    • Supplements:

Some supplements, such as biotin, can be helpful in stopping hair loss. It is important to speak with your doctor before taking any supplements, as some are not safe for certain people.

What is a good method to prevent hair loss?

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the best way to prevent hair loss may vary depending on the individual’s hair type, lifestyle, and other factors. However, some general tips that may be effective for some people include avoiding harsh hair care products; eating a balanced and healthy diet; getting enough exercise; and wearing a hat or sunscreen when outdoors. Additionally, some people may find that using hair loss prevention supplements or medications can be helpful.

    Conclusion:

We have mentioned most of the tips to prevent hair fall. If, despite these suggestions, your hair loss persists, you should consult a dermatologist. Because in such cases, an expert can only help. There can be any medical condition that may not be responding to any of the remedies, but following up with a proper diet, care, and medication may work out.
