In 2022, IIT Bombay will be in charge of conducting the JEE Advanced exam. This is one of the toughest exams in India. A large number of students appear for this test every year, out of which only a handful are finally selected. The exam conducting authority will publish the result within 2 to 3 weeks after the completion of the exam. Students are required to visit the official website for the results. The JEE advanced result is published via online mode only. No physical copies will be sent to the students. Students can download and take a printout of the scorecard. It contains details like the subject-wise scores and total marks, as well as category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) of the qualified candidates and the rank in the Common Rank List (CRL).
Steps to Download the Result
Following are the steps to check the result.
- Go to http://result.jeeadv.ac.in/
- Login using the required credentials.
- Enter the required details and click on the “Submit” button.
- The JEE Advanced 2022 result will now be displayed on the screen.
- Verify all the details on the marks card.
- Save and download the marks card.
If any errors are found in the marks card, students should report the same to the authorities. They will open a correction window for such candidates. Correction should be done within the given time. For different category candidates, the rank list will be prepared and released separately after publishing the JEE Advanced result. The minimum marks will be different for students from different categories. The marks card will contain details like the name of the candidate, date of birth, roll number, registration number, rank obtained, qualifying status, All India Ranks (AIR), subject-wise marks for both papers, and total marks.
Calculation of Score
It is mandatory for students to write both Paper 1 and Paper 2. The score obtained by candidates in maths, physics, and chemistry in both Paper 1 and 2 will be added individually. The score obtained in each subject will be added, and the total marks will be calculated.
Eligibility Criteria
Students are required to check the eligibility criteria given by the official exam conducting authority. JEE advance eligibility criteria will be published on the official website of the exam conducting authority. The information provided will help candidates analyse whether they are eligible or not.
